Wife had the chicken fajitas. Thought they were a bit spicy and wished she could have ordered them mild.
I had the vegan steak fajitas. They were good I just wish my server would have offered more tortillas for more money.
We shared a flight of margaritas.
I had the mago. Was pretty sweet.
Wife had the strawberry, watermelon and coconut. She loved them so much we went back for lunch the next day and she ordered them again.
For lunch I asked the server for a plate of beans and rice with two orders of tortillas. She came back with a small bowl. I was not thrilled with that but wasn't in the mood to ask for more and just wanted to enjoy the trip.
Food over all was pretty good. It's a great place to go if you have vegan vegetarian and meat eaters in your party. -

Not going to lie, I am pretty bias when I come to a place with a dedicated Vegan menu. Add that to great service from everyone we encountered and I give this restaurant 5 stars! My sister and I split the Caesar salad and chimichanga. Plenty of food and it was delicious. We came with 2 omnivores as well and they both got steak fajitas which was a large portion and tasty to them as well. My only complaint is the music was a little loud but I was also at a day club all day so my hearing was shot, no downgrades for that.
9:30 Tequila shots added to the fun! I would definitely recommend and plan on returning on future trips to Vegas. -

This restaurant caught our eye while we were on the hunt for good-quick food that offered football viewing. We generally love Mexican food - so this seemed like a no brainer. The huge, flat screen TVs that were playing the Hawks game didn't hurt either :)
We got seating immediately, and our friendly server, Irvin, got margaritas and chips going right away. We ordered the Carne Asada Quesidilla and the Carne Asada entree . I was blown away how tender and juicy the steak was in each dish. By far the best carne asada dish I have ever ordered from a restaurant. -

Wow! Love this place. We came in here before going to Happy Place and sat at the bar since we were early and wanted to grab a couple drinks before. I believe happy hour was winding down, but the bartender (wish I could remember his name!) saw we were locals and still offered it to us. We each got a margarita on the rocks.
In fact, did you know they are the home of the original margarita? Basically, the margarita was invented by them (obviously not this location, but their first one many, many years ago)! Pretty amazing to have a place like that right here in Vegas! And I could definitely tell they were the makers of the true margarita. Margs are probably my go-to drink and one of my favorites. These were so fresh and so full of flavor. I believe he used real juices in it, too. YUM!
After a few sips of our margarita, we decided to order some guac, even though it wasn't on happy hour. The guac came with chicharrones, which if you have never had them before, you will love them. They are made from pork skin. The way Hussong's Cantina flavors their chicharrones is so good! They put some kind of seasoning on top and it works super well with their guac, which by the way, was not too spicy! Which is great for me, because I hate spice haha :)
When it came time for the check, we saw that the bartender had stuck to his word and let us have our drinks at happy hour cost. He kept reiterating that they loved locals and he hoped we would come back! So kind. We will definitely be returning there! -

Wow!! This will be a new favorite place in Vegas, for sure! I had zero expectations when I walked in and was lured by the sign that read "inventors of the first margarita". This place did not disappoint. I sat at a high top, ordered a carnitas quesadilla and a frozen margarita flight (blackberry, prickly pear, pina colada, and raspberry). I was quickly served complimentary chips and salsa, which instantly bought them major points in my book, and my food arrived piping hot! My quesadilla was tasty, cheesy, crunchy deliciousness and my margarita flight was AMAZING. Let's not forget to mention the highlight of the meal: the mariachis! Don't like mariachi music? Don't worry, they'll put a spin on any classic, from Sweet Caroline to Beyoncé, they sang it all! Fantastic place, great service, delicious food--I seriously can't wait to go back!!
